Meet Nathalie
Nathalie is part of Sabin’s livability team, working with residents and community partners to improve the standard of living of Sabin residents and the greater NE Portland community. She works with volunteer groups to increase the biodiversity, and sustainability of Sabin’s outdoor spaces. She also works on grant writing, building and maintaining community partnerships and strategic planning around Sabin’s Livability Initiative.
Nathalie studied Political Science and Economics at Wesleyan University, with an academic focus on public policy and welfare reform. She has done internships working in the government at the city, state and federal level, and is now excited to have the opportunity to apply her knowledge to the non profit sector.Nathalie also brings experience in the world of sustainable agriculture and food systems to her position. She has worked on a variety of small, sustainable farms and has participated in conferences about how to make our farming and food systems more equitable and sustainable.
