Our Eco-Livability initiative is especially dedicated to serving our most vulnerable populations through green workforce development. We partner with organizations like Portland Youth Builders (PYB), the Portland Opportunities Industrialization Center (POIC), and Central City Concern (CCC) to provide hands-on, impactful workforce training. Each partner brings a unique mission to this collaboration:

• Portland Youth Builders (PYB): PYB empowers youth through education, vocational training, and leadership development, creating pathways to economic stability.

• Portland Opportunities Industrialization Center (POIC): POIC offers educational and workforce opportunities to disconnected youth, focusing on leadership, self-determination, and community connection.

• Central City Concern (CCC): CCC provides housing, health services, and employment support to help individuals experiencing homelessness and poverty achieve self-sufficiency.

Through these partnerships, our green workforce curriculum provides meaningful job training and employment opportunities, helping individuals gain valuable sustainable development and property maintenance skills while fostering a healthier, more resilient community.
