Meet jACKSON

Born and raised in Northeast Portland, Jackson is passionate about creating a city where everyone can thrive. Building on his studies in Urban and Regional Planning and volunteer work in criminal justice reform and tenant rights advocacy, Jackson is excited to work on creating affordable housing abundance with Sabin’s Development Team. Jackson is also involved in the Grants and Budget teams.

When not at work, Jackson is most likely petting his cat, biking to the movie theater, or eating noodle soup.

About Community

Sabin’s Livability Initiative is an ongoing and organization-wide project to intentionally improve the livability of the culturally diverse neighborhoods that we serve in North East Portland. Livability is the sum of factors that add up to a community’s quality of life. Livability is the presence of color, art, and diversity, but it’s also unusable sidewalks, skyrocketing rent prices, and lack of green space.
