Meet Caden

Hailing from the enchanting terrain of Southwest Washington, Caden’s journey through the corridors of Boise State University culminated in a profound appreciation for the intersection of engineering and community development. His academic tenure imbued him with a deep-seated passion for innovation, laying the groundwork for his subsequent endeavors.

In 2023, Caden’s path intersected with Sabin CDC through Americorps Confluence, a serendipitous encounter that would redefine his trajectory. Leaving his Confluence tenure prematurely, he assumed the mantle of Sabin CDC’s Livability Maintenance Coordinator, embarking on a mission to enhance the quality of life within the community. With unwavering dedication and a commitment to progress, Caden’s presence at Sabin CDC symbolizes the harmonious blend of technical expertise and civic responsibility, propelling us toward a future defined by sustainable growth and prosperity.

About Community

Sabin’s Livability Initiative is an ongoing and organization-wide project to intentionally improve the livability of the culturally diverse neighborhoods that we serve in North East Portland. Livability is the sum of factors that add up to a community’s quality of life. Livability is the presence of color, art, and diversity, but it’s also unusable sidewalks, skyrocketing rent prices, and lack of green space.
